This winter has been colder than usual and I missed many days riding because of that. I decided to purchase a trainer so I wouldn't completely miss out on the physical part of my rides. I wanted to make use of my existing bicycle and not have another big thing hanging out in my garage. This trainer works well for me - not too expensive, easy to set up (the written instructions aren't great), takes little space when not in use and it does give me a way to get a bit of a workout. I do still find it extremely boring to ride inside.
